We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, and home city when you create a profile. We also collect the voice recordings you make, the transcriptions and complaint text generated from them, any photos you attach, and the complaint history associated with your account.
3. Voice Recordings & AI Processing
When you record a complaint, the audio is securely transmitted to our servers and processed by third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI) to produce a transcription and a formal complaint email. Audio is used only to generate your complaint and is not used to build advertising profiles.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the App, to generate and route your complaints to the appropriate authorities, to maintain your complaint history, to respond to support requests, and to keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Information Sharing
We share complaint content with the local authority you choose to contact, since that is the core purpose of the App. We use trusted service providers — including cloud hosting, authentication, and AI transcription providers — who process data on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law.
6. Data Storage & Security
Your profile and complaint data are stored using secure cloud services. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account and complaint data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your associated personal data and complaint history are removed from our active systems.
8. Your Rights & Choices
You can view and edit your profile information at any time within the App. You may delete your account and associated data from the Profile screen. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data — contact us to exercise these rights.
9. Children's Privacy
CityCom is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
10. Third-Party Services
The App relies on third-party services for authentication, storage, and AI processing. These providers have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data. We encourage you to review their policies.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version in the App with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
